Derek Lam
Lam began his career at Michael Kors, and his designs manifest Kors' desire to reinvent American sportswear without making it too scary or directional. Since his 2003 debut, the CFDA-award winner has mastered precise silhouettes with soft, womanly leanings and a subtle seventies homage. Lam also designs a resortwear collection that brings his love of classic shapes and pretty patterns to sundresses and silk robes.
